Kappy's

Daiquiri & Sports

About us

Kappy's is a full-service restaurant and bar featuring handcrafted, fresh fruit daiquiris including Kappy’s original "Cajun Sting" to accompany classic American and Louisiana foodie favorites.

Established in 1975. Kappy’s operated as a bar on Gause Blvd in Slidell until March 15, 2020, when it was relocated to Old Spanish Trail. Due to Covid-19 Kappy’s became a Restaurant & Bar. Kappy’s is Slidell’s oldest daiquiri establishment.

Kappy's currently offers four Diamond Billiard Professional pool tables, steel tip darts, electronic golf, and karaoke on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Folks come from the north of Hattiesburg, Ms. and south of Houma, La. to sing and listen to some of the best singers in the area. We are proud that some have been discovered by talent scouts and have gone on to sing professionally. If you are in the area, and whether you sing or not, come have a good time at Slidell's "Grown-up Place to Party".

All of your sports bar faves are here, from shareable platters of wings, and chips & dip, to bite-size morsels on small plates--duck wontons, twisted gator fries, and "kickers" -- fried balls of crawfish, crab, or alligator-jalapeno.

Kappy's offers eight signature burgers, or you can build your own, as well as chicken sandwiches, hickory-smoked chicken plates and St. Louis-style smoked ribs with sides like Bayou Baked Beans, Coleslaw and Cajun Corn.

Also on the menu are chicken & waffles, Nathan's hot dogs, alligator sausage, or beer battered cod. We also offer salads, fish tacos, fish & chips, and Louisiana favorites like shrimp & corn bisque, duck & andouille gumbo, crawfish boil-in-a-bowl and more. Round out your hearty lunch or dinner with an espresso or cappuccino, dessert nachos, raspberry cheesecake rolls, or classic beignets with powdered sugar, or try them topped with Chocolate, Raspberry, or Strawberry sauce!"
